Is this really a one-time payment?

Yes. You pay once and own the version you purchased — there are no annual fees and no subscription required to keep using it. iCARE ($320/year, or $260/year when bundled with a new license) is an optional add-on that gives you access to each new version as it's released, but it's never required to continue using your current version.

What happens if I don't buy iCARE?

Nothing — your license continues working forever. You'll simply stay on the version you purchased. When a major new version is released, you can upgrade at a discounted price whenever you're ready.

Can I try before I buy?

Absolutely. The free trial gives you 30 days of full access with no feature limits and no credit card required. Just download and start using it.

How do I actually get the software after I buy?

By download — that's the only way we deliver progeCAD, there's nothing physical to ship. If you're already running the free trial, you're all set: your purchase confirmation email includes a serial number that unlocks that same installation for continued full use after the 30-day trial ends. Haven't downloaded yet? Grab the free trial first, install it, then enter your serial number when it arrives.

How do Network Licenses (NLM) work — and what do they cost?

NLM licenses are floating — install progeCAD on as many machines as you need, and the number of licenses you hold sets the concurrent session limit. One NLM license allows one active session at a time; five licenses allow five simultaneous sessions — across any number of installed machines. NLM is priced at $665 per license ($540 base + $125 NLM add-on).

Do progeCAD add-ons work with iCADMac?

No — progeEARTH, progeBILLD, and progeTABLE are Windows-only add-ons that run inside progeCAD Professional. iCADMac is a separate, standalone Mac product and does not support these add-ons.

Can I move or reinstall my license?

Yes. A progeCAD perpetual license is yours to keep — install it on a new machine, move it when you upgrade your hardware, or reinstall after a rebuild. There is no limit on transfers and no subscription required to keep using the software.

Why not ZWCAD or BricsCAD?

ZWCAD has no direct US sales channel — US buyers must order internationally with no local support. BricsCAD is Belgium-based with limited US presence. progeCAD is priced in USD, sold direct, and backed by a US-based support team.
