What’s new in progeCAD 2027?
Flexible licensing that fits how your team works Alongside the traditional single, NLM, and corporate license options, progeCAD 2027 introduces the new Flex License — a permanent license that moves with you. Need to deploy across different machines? No problem. ICT managers, this one’s for you.
Compare drawings in seconds The new COMPARE command automatically spots what’s changed between two DWG files — additions, deletions, and modifications are highlighted at a glance. It’s perfect for design reviews, revision tracking, and client approvals. And if you’ve got a second monitor, you can now drag drawing windows onto it, with each window staying fully functional and independently navigable.
More maps, better BIM Five new Esri ArcGIS basemap layers join the existing Bing maps options: OpenStreetMap, Imagery, Streets, Light Gray, and Dark Gray. BIM users will also be happy to know that Revit 2026 file formats (RVT and RFA) are now fully supported.
PDF tools, supercharged The revamped PDF-to-CAD conversion puts you in control — import into your current drawing or a new one, handle multi-page files, and run batch conversions with ease. The PDF printer can now embed coordinate system data, which is great news for anyone working with geospatial content.
A full LISP development environment Developers, you’re getting a complete Visual LISP programming environment, including a LISP Debugger extension for Visual Studio Code. progeCAD 2027 supports AutoCAD-compiled LISP apps in both .vlx and .fas formats, making it easier than ever to port your existing plugins.
